If I’m spending 4-5k it’s going to be something more Speyside. But, whisky isn’t generally my preferred tipple.
I liked a Kavalan I had once, but it was more like a whisky liqueur to me.
Not sure about expat package, but trying to be locally hired by an international bank here may be worth a try. J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc have branch offices in Taipei.
