coming from mainland china, I noticed quickly that fake-markets and copies of all sorts of things are not so obvious here.
i am talking about sportsequipment, leisure-wear, bags, sunglasses, watches and so on. even cd/dvd-copies seem to be well-hidden here.
of course they must exist. I guess:
a. it’s because of the much stricter handling of the copyright-law
b. because taiwanese are not so brandminded
c. they go for the real stuff as they have more money to burn
d. ???
does anybody want to share his/her experiences in this “business field”?

a=yes, but not adequately enforced.
b=no, no, no!
c=maybe, but many would walk a mile to save 10NT
d=there’s just as much, only hidden. A recent article claimed Taiwan’s movie and music piracy business was an even bigger problem than China’s because the former was more easily able to export and flood international markets.
