Xi-Men area of Taiepi. Go to exit One on the MRT and walk towards the Red Theatre. (you’ll see what I mean.) There are lots of little roads along there that hire out fancy dress stuff.
And don’t settle for the first couple of shops closest to the MRT exit. There are much better ones further down the road, but you have to walk one or two blocs.
You’ll need to leave an ID of some sort and pay part of the rent money up front.
You can bargain if you’re renting more than one suit.
Cheesy 70s clothing? Just ask the chief if you can go through his wardrobe.
