As much as I love my city (the hot dogs, the ever losing but lovable Cubs and that wacky mayor of ours) it’s now becoming more and more of an embarrassment. As you know, our former Gov allegedly tried to sell Obama’s Senate seat and elections are coming up. On the Dems side we have Alexi Giannoulias, who comes from money and was a strong fundraiser for his campaign. Also Obama’s basketball buddy. But today, the FDIC closed his family’s bank. 
And Obama? Well, he’s coming back home for a day and Alexi ain’t invited to the party.
I’m ready to become apathetic toward politics…
