Probably the result of the usual sloppy wiring while fitting the obligatory blue neon lights or repeating horns.
While it saddens me to see such a fine machine go up in flames, basically any Ferrari that comes to Taiwan is doomed to an ignoble end, one way or another. :s
It should be forbidden to import anything more than a KIA family car into Taiwan … here they buy, or build something but don’t take care or maintain it properly … shame …

pretty true. cars dont have a long life in
Taiwan in general. NO matter what kind they are. they get abused and Trashed
The stories I could tell you about how various exotics are ‘maintained’, ‘tuned’ and ‘repaired’ here would make you weep. 911 engines being assembled on the sidewalk etc. etc.
Good.
Last week, the week before AND the week before that I got buzzed by manic fuckwits in Ferraris and ugly Porces driving convoy style. I faced two on a corner a few days back overtaking a line of cars and I had to literally stop to avoid a collision.
That’s one less gobshite to worry about. I hate those pricks. :fume:
US$531,250.00 (NT$17,000,000) according to the poster in that thread… ouch…
Oh well, being an idiot is expensive, and people shouldn’t have hobbies they can’t afford…

Here’s hoping all the Honda ‘Souped Up But My Engine Is Gonna Be Fucked In 1,000km’ Civics, Mazda ‘I Can Drive How The Fuck I Want Cause My Car Is New’ Shitmobiles and Mitubishi ‘I Can’t Afford A Sportscar But I’m Damn Well Going To Act Like I Can’ pricks go the same way (in that order).
What’s that Llary? You want to see these people die in burning cars? I’m shocked. Really shocked. You know very well that hydrocarbons burning in an excess of oxygen are really, really bad for the environment!
i think i saw the car (hard to tell from the pix) and the guy at the monet cafe’ - where all the bikers hang out.
he looked really proud and people took a lot of pictures of the car. i don’t give much about cars but that one was a beauty.
well, looks like the driver got a lot more attention now that he bargained for
