Yesterday there was a parade of ferraris, about 30+ all the latest from the italian marque to celebrate the opening of a rather unusual shop on wenshin road.
Its a ferrari and masarati service center… its a joke right, you honestly expect me to believe that the locals are going to be servicing these high end cars to a level that ferrari in italy are happy with?. :no-no:
To make things even odder, it just seems like a car sales place, they have the new F430 inside along with 2 other cars and NOTHING else at all… its almost empty!.
So is it a service centre like it says on the building, or is it a car dealer… who knows, one things for sure, i bet $1000nt they dont have the specialist tools needed to service them!.
You may think im being overly negative, for those of us who have owned a car and been in taiwan for a few years, you would understand where im coming from!.
-EDIT-
the service sign on the building is a dead ringer for the bmw service sign, same font and all… :roflmao:
Theres no need for a “real” Ferrari service because most of them burn up anyway in Taiwans hot weather. Those mid-engined cars dont have the best cooling in the first place, added to taiwans hot summers and added to the ferrocity with which they are driven? FIRE
It is not an official Enzomobile/Maser service place. Taipei has one. Some of the staff are or at least were European so they probably know what they are doing more than the average binlang chewer. No doubt the prices they charge for a service are the numbers expected in telephone numbers…
im gonna drive by and check it out. i saw the news and scratched my head.
as for the car overheat or fire comment. i see ferraris zipping around taipei all the time when i visit and sometimes in taichung. granted they dont sit in traffic during peak rush hour. just like any high performance engine as long as it’s moving it will be just fine. unless ur going through that long as tunnel to go yelan damn thing is like a hot oven in there lol.
STOP IT !!! You are making me jealous you FREAKOZOID
That was a pretty cool grouping there !!
Im happy i got to ride a testarossa once, my only ferrari experience so far. And i got to ride in a 2006 lambo murceilago cabriolet . A 390 thou car here in the US of A. shudder to think what that goes for there?
AND I did get to DRIVE an R8 !! nOW THAT was pretty awesome.
My word! Some of those cars only have two seats. What’s wrong with that?
I swear I could read all of those driver’s minds. “Uh, uh, oh, uh, oh, arg, oo, ouw, eek, no. I hope it doesn’t get scratched.”
There was one I swear that was thinking “I’m bursting for a piss, but there’s no way I’m parking this at the side of the street while I nip into 7-11!” “Should I wet my pants and spoil the alacantara seats or should I pull over and risk getting scraped by a scooter?” “I’ll remember to wear my adult nappy next time I come out for sure!”
Did anyone notice the sticker on the back of the F-40? “My other car’s a Hyundai Matrix!”
