Hi,
I’ve taken this ferry from next to the Danshui River (about a 5 minutes walk from the Danshui MRT station) to the Fisherman’s Wharf. It was a great, fast, and fun way to get there! Pretty cheap also – $NT 40 one-way, I think. If you haven’t tried this, you should. Anyway, on to my question …
Does anyone know (or know how to find out) what the operating days and hours of that ferry are?
Any tips appreciated.

Make one out of strips of flesh you flay off your English-language students. The kiddies make nice ones.

Don’t tempt me, especially after I say 1,000 times in class, “OK, what do you think?”, get silence, and then they write on their critique forms that they don’t get to talk in class.
On 2nd thought, please forward the proper dimensions for a “flayed” headband!
I really need to know the operating hours OR contact this ferry on Friday, 8/6. Help! Oh, it is the same one that provides passage to Bali.
I’m not sure of the exact times, but I think it runs to at least 11pm, goesabout every 10-15mins. The other option is to take a bus direct from the MRT station, number 26 (I think) but it says Fisherman’s Wharf on it.
Not as fun, but cheaper and safer (mind you knowing bus drivers…)

Don’t go on weekends. It’ll take you hours just to get on the ferry because of all the people…
If all else fails call the 24 hour tourist hotline 0800-011-765. they should be able to give you the times.
