Looks like Korea is not getting out of the group. Mexico deserves the win. But the goal by son was just fantastic.
Goal of the WC so far goes to Toni Kroos. Coutinhos goal against the Swiss was more pleasing to the eye, but scoring the winner in the last seconds of stoppage time in a must-win situation was extra special. Not many players can score from that angle in that situation. Nerves of steel.

I loved that goal. Reminded me of the flea-flicker in American football.
Didn’t watch the game live, just the highlights a day later. Also, I am not really getting emotional over sports games anymore.

Some of that terrible fouling could have been prevented by bringing on Rose West earlier.
I feel Kroos had a better goal because he had a mountain of pressure on his shoulders to score it.
That Lingard is some player mind. If another couple of England players could step up they’ll be a real threat.

It is their first ever world cup, so they are not on the same level as other teams who routinely qualify and make it further into the competition.
They shouldn’t be there there must be a hundred teams that are better than them who didn’t qualify .
Bit of a joke.
There are many, but qualifying places are assigned by region. They were third in the North America and Caribbean region and earned their place (ahead of the US who really screwed it up). The World Cup is not for the best teams international the world, it is a representation of teams qualified from different regions. At least their supporters seemed to have a great time anyway, and good on them.
I know but the US and other teams must have been really bad…
