I’m a fan of figure skating and would love to go to the rink at the weekend.
Does anyone know about the skating rinks in Taipei?
Please tell me the location, quality as well as the price.

Unfortunately, ice time is a premium here. From 9AM to 9PM, it’s public skating. It’s crowded with well armored neophytes slowly walking around in an ovoid pattern. 1 Lutz and you’ll take out ten locals.
Now, there is a figure skating club. They were skating at 9:30 before our hockey club on Thursdays, but the summer allotment lottery just took place and our club got sidelined. I’m not sure what happened to the figure skaters. But as you won’t be here until September, it would be pointless to try and figure out where they landed as, come September, it’ll all change again.
I will try and find out for you. Defo bring your skates as they will likely have a slot.
