The mind boggles… although it may explain a few things
At first I was sure this was fake but it does appear to be real because I searched for the story on the main BBC site and it was there.
It reminded me alot of this fake BBC article that looks very real about a lion vs 42 midgets in Cambodia.
It didn’t have that disclaimer at the top before when it was really popular and people were emailing it all over the world.
Crazy, man, crazy.
Too many green genies at the Hobbit House Bar in Malate?
The Hobbit House is one of the coolest and most unique places I’ve ever been too–the entire staff is filipino midgets! What a great concept. And it’s actually fun! The food is ok, the beer is cold, and music is great. They had a few acts of folk-style bands covering popular songs that made for a really awesome ambience. And they even let yours truly make his live debut with a little Poison (Every Rose Has Its Thorn baby). Everyone there is super friendly and they love getting their picture taken. Oh, and the best part…the smallest midget is actually the bouncer. Check it out!!

Wow the Hobbit House !! Now that’s bringing back fond memories of Ermita before Mayor Lim made it boring and less surreal. Gunfights on the streets, wilde eyed revolutionaries, transvestite hairdressers, the Fire House midget doorman, spies, terrorists, I swear I once met the Unabomber complaining about his pie in the Hula Hut.
