this happens a lot with me when i try and find locations of plants i am looking up, not just Taiwan (but especially Taiwan!). Bigger problem with older stuff that often use Engrish translations of Japanese.
Anyway, for a specific example, i am trying to find locations near me where some plant collections were made, but having a really hard time finding the names as the pinyin is obviously less than ideal.
because i often look at Flora of Taiwan to try and track down things first, i wonder if there is a way to see a map of different collections? i know they recorded the collector and DI #, but is there a way to find either a Chinese name or a location online?
