I’ll be finished by June 30 and am planning to go back to my home country by mid-August. Question is that I’ve been offered a summer camp position. I forgot to ask the new employer the ARC thing. So what if this person doesn’t provide me with an ARC. What do I do to stay here legally.
Note: My multiple-entry visa expires on August 15.
I will reply with the standard answer and say that of course you have to have employment authorization and an ARC (based on that authorization) in order to “work” in Taiwan legally.
I also regret to inform you that many “potential employers” whom you meet in Taiwan are often quite (blissfully) unaware of the full details of these regulations/laws.
