First Post; Road Bike Rentals in Taipei?

Hi. I tried searching first; didn’t find much (in English.)

I’ll be visiting Taiwan later this month for a few weeks and want to do lots of riding. Can one rent a nice road bike in Taipei? If so, can anyone forward the details or contact information?

alternatively various giant shops in strategic locations rent out road bikes per the hour or per day. For e.g. the Giant shop in Hongshulin (near Tamsui) has some nice bikes for hire. But you’d need to rent them Monday to Friday. The rates go bonkers at the weekend. You’d also need to bring your own pedals and shoes unless you want to ride platform.

whoops, my bad…where’s the nearest one to the big hills then? Does the one in Tianmou rent bikes?

There’s a Giant in Zhuwei but I’m not sure if they rent bikes.

Thank you for the replies; I have found a loaner bike from a friend in Taipei.

Will be searching on here, as to group rides in TPE. Also plan to visit Taidong…
