Can anyone recommend how to convert flac files for use with itunes and/ or ipod?

There ya go. I hear xACT is better.

xACT is it. It also includes shntool which can split wav files from a cue-sheet. That’s all you need.

If you ever need to split a wav, read up on shntool.

It is possible to recreate the CD so iTunes will see the track titles and everything.
