Flagrant fouls on Jeremy Lin frequently overlooked, deliberate or incompetence?

Someone made a video to make the case, although a simple search of Jeremy Lin Foul on youtube will pretty much get you all the same videos.

Director of NBA officials Ronnie Nunn admits on twitter that these fouls should at least get reviewed, however he also believes it’s just incompetence, not the refs deliberately singling Jeremy Lin out, and certainly not racism. As he says on his twitter account:

The Carmelo Anthony uppercut to the face looks pretty deliberate though. The refs ignoring elbow to face happening right in front of them over and over again, to the point the broadcasters calls it a “daily occurrence for Lin” doesn’t sound like systematic incompetence that exists for others.

At least they will probably do something about it, as Ronnie Nunn twitted:

Most of those are swipes at the ball that contacting Lin’s face (some hard) but in a glancing manner. Kobe’s was definitely flagrant but he got star player treatment. Carmelo’s was more of a lazy defender upswipe at the ball that really popped Lin. The old Rockets footage (against Aldridge) was pretty flagrant but that is seasons old.

Jason Terry should be suspended for his actions against 2 players.
