Flute seen in Kill Bill 2 & yes Grasshopper....Kung Fu (TV)

In the film “Kill Bill 2”, David Carradine (who plays the “Bill” in both the first and second film) is seen playing a large flute-staff in “Kill Bill 2”. This is also known as a Chinese flute, if it matters. I am seeking one of these things, they are made of bamboo. Any one know of a place which may have them for sale? The quality I am seeking is semi-professional to fully pro. Please give detailed addresses or locations as I am direction and sign challenged here in Taipei. Also, I am willing to travel anywhere in Taiwan for the flute.

Or ask the guy at RaoHe night market who sells all the bamboo flutes. I assume he’s still there; he used to be there regularly with a wide selection.

Kinda related I guess… but does anybody know a good place where I can learn the flute? I’m in the mood for a new hobby and always wanted to give the flute a go. Cheers

I’ve seen them around. The last time was in the market outside Baishan Caves in Taidong ranging in price from 600 to 3000 NT.
