Anyone know if there are any private flying clubs in and around Taiwan?
Yogic or in aircraft?
There are none. the airspace for private flying isn’t open yet, however laws are under way to change that in the future.
Hopefully it’ll be soon.
I do see some ultra-lights down near Sandimen, about an hour from Kaohsiung. The same place they do para-gliding. Believe it’s called SaiJia or something like that.
OK…thanks. I’m just in the process of completing my PPL and it looks as if I’ll be spending alot of time in Taiwan over the next few years. So was hoping that I’d be able to keep up to date with my licence.
I’m sure Taiwan would be a create place for private flying - I feel a business plan coming along!!!
