“Famous” mutton restaurant in Tainan was seen chopping up the meat on the floor. The worker had a cutting board on the ground but even when meat fell onto the floor they scooped it up off of the floor and put it in with the rest of the meat. The boss came out and apologized and said it wasn’t a normal occurrence and after looking into it he said the worker had a sore arm so she decided to chop the meat on the floor as that was easier for her…
Thought this was an accepted practice. Seen it everywhere. Saw it once chopping meat literally on the asphalt outside back door of popular local place near corner of Xinyi and Anhe.
