Foreign reporters being forced out of China

First there was the cracking down on foreigners.

Now China is cracking down on any foreign reporter who don’t regurgitate the state positions.

BBC’s reporting on China’s flood has angered the PRC and they accused BBC of being fake news and inciting disharmony. The FCCC condemned China’s obstruction of free press, but PRC spokes person claimed that the FCCC is an illegal organization.

The government’s open criticism has led to a barrage of netizen and citizen provocation of any foreign reporters. It got so sad that BBC’s Beijing correspondent John Sudworth requested to be transferred to Taiwan along with his family.

The Chinese government release statements that if Sudworth had concerns about him and his family’s safety, he could have reported through official channels and received the government’s protection. The fact that Sudworth failed to do so, and fled the country is indication for his guilt.

Ironic of the BBC to report this as in the UK there is a plan to jail reporters for 14 years if they whistle-blow among other things…

The article is dated in March, so yeah a while back, but no believes a word China says.

I read some other reports at the time, apparently they had people following his kids to school.
if true that’s just bad, even in the Cold War peoples kids where off limits.
