MOE postpones introduction of foreign teachers
After two months of pandering, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has decided to postpone until next year the introduction of foreign English teachers into local elementary schools as the SARS outbreak disrupted the plan.
The program, originally set to start in August, will now begin in January 2004, officials at the ministry said, according to a Central Daily report.
