They’ll need your passport, ARC card, social security number but not the card. Not sure if all banks are the same.

Slight correction: A passport isn’t an absolute requirement, just a second form of ID. Bank staff may lie about this, but they’re wrong.

Have any foreigners opened a bank account without using their passport?
