It’s wild to see it still. Especially in places where there are huge amounts of foreigners. It’s why indont like tobhang out in certain places in Hualien, Taitung, Henchuan etc. Like Dulan. Some solid dudes, the dudettes tend to be way more bamanced. but a whole lot of douche bags!

Well, to be fair…although I hate pointing it out…there is a huge amount of foreigners. Chinese & Vietnamese especially. They are far more tolerable than the western/white ones…so far as rhe cringe scale goes. On the ethics scale goes, fuck…
what’s wrong with him wanting to stay at the police station? that’s kind of common. I have been offered a bench to sleep on by a police officer when I popped in to ask for directions. Fortunately, I did not need it, I was able to get to the hotel I planned to stay at. Another time in Taidong I camped out at a police station for a few days, but overstayed my welcome, lol… They even had little platforms where you can pitch a tent but after 3 days I was basically told to f*** off… maybe it was because I asked to store my restaurant leftovers in their fridge, lol… Live and learn.

Well he didnt really want to stay there..it was a non-genuine interaction, he was just trolling the police, and that is basically been a fucktard for clout. (Excuse my language, but we may as call it for what it is).

I quite like that the country of Taiwan allows for such a society to have their ways and let them live free. It may not be for me, but I respect the country for enabling them and supporting that area to do their thing. And many other sub cultures as well.
