Taiwan recently returned a Formosan bear cub to its original habitat.

The cub lost its mother and was rescued and trained by researchers. Hopefully the cub can grow and live a happy life.
Cute. I’ve yet to see one in the wild. Hopefully, one day…
how cute is that? we don’t need politically motivated pandas when we have these cuties.

And yet we have «local» politicians saying these wild beasts will never be as cute as pandas.
That is why there is such resistance to getting funding for their conservation.

This video includes clips of the cub recuperating. The cub is trained to avoid humans, so hopefully it does just that.

Ms Huang is a truly dedicated protector of this bear. I really respect her for all of her devotion.

Great hope iit adapts well and is safe. It’s not easy to reintroduce animals like this.
