I’m sure it would create attention to this forum and add new members which in my opinion is a good thing.
Arrange in neutral location that is a coffee shop/Pub/restaurant/ all kinds of people friendly that could cater to everyone style and not directly or indirectly exclude anyone.

There seem to be a lot of active Meet Ups in Taiwan and Taipei already. Here are a few of the more active ones.

Some of those meetup groups are not really active.
Meetup also requires a fee to maintain the groups.
Didn’t people from this Forumosa used to have meetups? Why aren’t there any now or are there some?
I’d love to meet more folks here too. I’ve tried Meetup on and off, and they seem to skew wildly between some activity with droughts of nothing planned.
