Short?! Where have you been hanging out?! They were short a generation or two ago. Now they tower at international standards.
I just had the unfortunate luck to share an MRT ride with half a train of teenagers. And no, they were not a Basketball team…But looked the part. And from their shrinking clothes you could tell they were barely starting the growth spurt.
My ideal man is Asian but furry. Height is problematic, I’m not too tall.
I don’t think so. I go through days without seeing anyone taller than me. I see more 180. But it’s rare to see any 190>. I am 189 and I’m just slightly tall in international standards.
I’ve never seen a group of Taiwanese men who look like basketball players and I coached basketball here…they are really short in terms of basketball. I was the short one on my HS team so idk what standard you’re going with.
And 99% of the time; the taller guys are twigs in Taiwan.
Someone told me the other day local people’s heart size and capacity hasn’t caught up to rapidly increasing heights, which is leading to problems. Not sure if it’s based on anything or just on the guy who passed away while doing an action show recently in China.
To be fair, it’s really hard for many taller guys to put on weight. I was about 187 and 75kg for most of high school. I wouldnt break 80kg until I was 19 and I tried so hard. I worked out daily building muscle a eating 4-5k calories a day with countless protein supplements and weight gainers.
While cancer is still top cause of death, most heart conditions here are exacerbated by stress and pollution, but Chinese Medicine, which includes potentially organ damaging compounds and caffeine, a la Baolyd B, plays a key role in heart disease, like it does in damaging the kidneys and liver. However, it is the combination of these factors which proves lethal.
I never heard about caffeine damaging heart or organs ? Any references ? You could get a heart attack if you drink too much and have other issues I guess.
I recently read something about a link between coffee consumption and increased risk for developing atrial fibrillation. I’ll have to look for the article. I remember it said if you drink coffee regularly, like 1-2 cups a day, you’re okay, but drinking 1-2 cups a week ups your risk for AF. I guess it’s the inconsistency that gets to you.
To enhance the «potency» of Chinese «medicine», aside from Western medicine, they add a lot of stimulants. While there are some reputable doctors in the field, most of the «ingredients» come from China. Hence, the issues.
