What are the features of Taiwan’s Free to Air digital TV?
Doe it offer MTS Multiple Channel Sound? How many HD channels are there? Are there many English movies?
I could be wrong but I think this is what we have. We don’t have cable anyway but still get some channels.
You get fifteen channels and on very rare occasions you will get some English shows but not very often. If you like baseball, you can usually get a baseball game twice a day although it’s the same game with a replay at night. You can change the audio to get English commentary.
They used to have an English show every weekday night at 11:00 but I can’t remember what channel. They would play House M.D. quite often and I think they had the Tudors on a while back but all the good bits were fuzzed out. You may even get the occasional nature show but for the most part it will be inane talk shows and game shows that are so popular here.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a full length English movie on the channels.
