Hello. I’ve been out of TW for some time now, but still have some decent contacts. Last week a publishing company who I’d worked with called me and asked me to do some pretty straight-forward freelance. I agreed.
My question is, what’s a good hourly rate? In the past, I’ve worked for a flat one-time fee and sometimes for a monthly sum – but never hourly.
The task is pretty simple, just write funny/interesting sentences using words given to me and describe how the illustration should look.
Would appreciate any input here. Would hate to leave this type of thing up to a boss.
