It just occured to me, after having played a few Japanese freeware/shareware games, that I have no idea what the Chinese for “freeware” and “shareware” is. Anyone got any ideas? Even better, anyone know any places to start looking for actual Chinese freeware/shareware games? Not translated ones, actual made-in-Chinese ones…

How brutally obvious.
for a **** with a bad haircut…youve got a long way to go
“Haircut” would imply I’ve actually had it cut
That is semi-mainlandish. More mainlandish still would be 共有軟件 gongyou ruanjian. In Taiwan we say 共享軟體 gongxiang ruanti - Try a web search and check how many results for each - the latter is far more common.
