Someone told me you can’t have a computer sent to another country with software loaded on it. Is this true? Do they check? What would they do if they found it loaded on? Anyone with any experience.
Should be no problem. I have done it, freight shipping computers, to a number of countries with no problems.
Shipped two here to Taiwan, no problemo. I declare on this BOL, Bill of Lading 2 computers - business.
Also have carried laptops, same results.
Some countries, noticiably communist regiemes, may cause different results.
I see no problem. However, if you want to be sure take out the harddisk(s), hand-carry them and ship the PC without it.
