Fundraiser for Si Ma Ke(Big Mark): Blue Cellar 4/28

Hello everyone,

There will be a fresh Fundraiser for Mark on the 28th of April at the Blue Cellar pub in Taoyuan, located at #47 Chen Kung Road, Section 2.

A buffet meal will be on offering from 5pm until later in the evening, at which point the venue will kick into party mode with live music until the wee hours.

All proceeds will go towards helping Mark’s family with medical expenses…

Directions: By car coming down from Taipei. Take the Taoyuan exit. Turn left toward Taoyuan. Up and over a bridge. Continue straight for about 4km, at which point the 4 lane road you are on (Chuen jr lou) will turn into a 2 lane road. After about 4 blocks you’ll hit Chen kung Road. Turn right, go down about 150meters and the pub will be on your right.

You can also do this by Train: Get off at the Taoyuan station. Walk straight up until you see a school on your left( about a five minute walk). The road going off to the right is Chen Kung road. Walk down about 2 1/2 blocks and you’ll see the pub on your left.

By scooter from Taipei. Take provencial Highway one from Taipei all the way to Downtown Taoyuan. At the light to the Train station, turn right instead of left to the station. Go up until you see a primary school on your left. Turn right. This is Chen kung road. Go up about 2 1/2 blocks and you’ll see the pub on your left.

the school MJB is talking about is about a block off of cheng jeng road (don’t look for it right on the corner). you will see a post office at the same corner, and a watch store as well. as MJB said, hang a right at that corner and proceed down …

(BTW, people have been asking what time the buffet will last until. many teach until 9 or so. will there be any food at that point?)
