Yeah, I’m aware of how the H (“haitch”) can be pronounced in some British accents, but I’m still not getting it.
Age = Hage?
Nope, my brain will not let me understand this. Explain like I’m 5 years old please!
Henry thought the doctor asked “H?” when he asked “age?” Thinking the doctor said “H” as a question, Henry gave him the rest of the spelling of his name. It’s no longer funny now!
Okay, understood now. But I would like to formally lodge an objection to this, because the consonant sound in “aitch” is too different from the one in “age” for it to be plausible. I’ll be contacting the humour authorities to register my complaint about this one.
Hello rousseau2, please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Herbert from the Humor Department of Forumosa. I will be looking into your complaint as I believe it is totally warranted given the circumstances. I may be young but don’t let my age fool you
Thank you very much. Now this is responsive bureaucracy. Nice to see things getting done in a timely manner around here. Makes one feel valued and appreciated. I hope that this matter will be resolved to the satisfaction of both parties, and that Herbert will have a popsicle for me to soften the blow if my complaint is not successful.
