The sober folk can probably spell better, though.
The really funny part about that meme is that it’s actually true. There have been studies on such things, and they do (broadly speaking) come to that conclusion.

There was a Dr Who episode in which the whole of (future) human society communicated only via emoticons. Including the eggplant one, presumably.
