I remember when PCP was popular, could never figure out why. I tried it multiple times in the mid-70s, and the result was invariably mild depression that felt like it could only get much worse and much weirder if I smoked more. I always thought came away thinking it was a ridiculous choice as recreation. Never understood what musicians like James Brown found attractive in it. Yuck.

Yep, in hindsight it sure does. It was super popular at the time, though. Everybody was smoking PCP, every party.

I tried it once with a cigarette dipped in liquid PCP in college. It’s was not a great experience for me so I never did it again. I tried K once and didn’t really like it that much so maybe it’s not my thing.

I don’t why it’s a party drug along with K. But I suppose people are doing coke to level it out in the 70s?
