Not much. It’s an oil with thermally conductive components inside it. Would likely be fine up to 300°C

Yeah, but it probably would smell!
Well… I don’t think so. It is a thermal paste after all, and the water itself can’t go above 100°C so… there’d be no way for it to get that hot.
And. This isn’t a cooking oil, so it likely has better properties than one.

The pot itself will get considerable above 100°C otherwise you’d be waiting a lifetime for the water to boil.
