Seriously though, I haven’t always had this much responsibility. There was a time when I browsed posts purely for enjoyment, not out of a sense of duty! So my mental notebook has gaps that correspond roughly with the Black Hole of Pre-2020-ness. Just sayin’.

I generally forget that I’ve even boiled the water. It can take me two or three reboilings to make a cup of tea/coffee. I always imagine Greta Thunberg’s cabbage-patch-kid face scowling over me every time I do that.
So … 6% of people are psychopaths? 
Two solutions off the top of my head:

The knife is long enough to slice 1/3 off each apple in a single chop. Then each has 2/3 of an apple

If the girl grabs the boy in black with her right hand she could impale them both with the knife in her left hand.
Then enjoy both apples equally.
