You know, I mentioned several times around here that I took a trip to Yale College a couple of years back. In the bookstore, I saw a book that essentially stated that lying is OK when the right side is doing it for the right reasons. I find that to be nonsensical. Apparently, you do not. Maybe it’s been a while since you tried a pair a binoculars. Maybe you’ve never tried a pair of military binoculars. The pair in the picture have attached lens caps. It’s a common mistake to not pin them back to the first time you use them. Yeah, it looks silly, but it’s not indicative of intelligence or lack thereof. Additionally, I try not to be full of hate for anyone, particularly people I don’t know. You do you, but the “Why’re you deFENding him?” comment is funnier than @Marco 's meme.
