I worked with a youngish grad like this, 2 degrees (one being a law degree) and he couldn’t read aloud, he would mispronounce written english words (his native language), and stumbled as he tried to sound out the words, like an 8 year old in a remedial reading class. It was as if he had no recognition of the written words.
But not when talking without reading. He would prepare most written work at night while at home, presumably voice to text. But would have the same issues again when trying to explain or read from his own work.
This should be in Serious Political Pictures… 
I don’t understand that one at all, did he once say something about his eyes falling out?
