Biden’s not even in office and the food lines have already started :scream:

This is Biden’s fault…how? You wanna peddle more misinformation?

Is this funny? You think people going hungry is funny?

I’d like to think it’s pretty obvious I’m being facetious

This seems like a ridiculous and unnecessary escalation of what is obviously a joke.

It was.

I guess we see things differently then. I see it as making light of what is increasingly becoming a humanitarian crisis. I find that tasteless.

For me, that’s offensive. It’s not offending me personally. I just think that such a ā€˜joke’ is made in extremely poor taste.

Yes, we do. Personally attacking someone for making a ā€œBiden = socialistā€ joke in such an over-the-top manner can only be seen as an unnecessary escalation. We’ve had jokes about Coronavirus, Islamic terrorism, gun nuts, gun grabbers, Antifa/BLM riots…all things that are extremely serious and have consequences on many, many lives. But a Biden joke predicated on people getting their free Thanksgiving day turkey is what prompts you to personally attack someone in such an aggressive manner. It makes no sense to me.

If it’s truly a personal attack, then flag it.

After three weeks of hearing everywhere, nothing but a constant barrage about how an opposition party and candidate somehow stealing an election from a governing party that has control over the government with very weak explanations. The line between humour/satire and unironic statements that misinform is starting to get very blurry. It’s tiring and nobody’s sure what to believe. Many on this thread are making political statements through this humour. I’m not disbelieving what you are saying, but If this is supposed to be an obvious attempt at humour, then its punchline was delivered extremely poorly…in my opinion and the likes that I got in my reply prove I’m not the only one who thinks so.

I remain steadfast that making fun of the poor is tasteless.

I think you need to lighten up

I think you need to not mock poor people.

I maintain that mocking what clearly are struggling people is low. Not necessarily against the rules, but low in my opinion.

I’m not mocking them
It’s fine if you don’t agree or don’t see my humour but you seem to keep wanting to make a big deal out of nothing
