Rain boots Iâve seen in Costco, late last winter I believe. They were in stock for less than a week (in Hsinchu), if memory serves. And speaking of memory, I recall the colors pink, yellow, and blue. But again, they pretty much flew off the shelf.

Winter after winter, students ask me âArenât you cold?â, as I walk around in the classroom without a jacket. Yet despite their heavy jackets and hats, many of them are still walking around in flip-flops.
