Gaming on the Mac?

Anyone out there playing games on the Mac? Just gussied up my Quicksilver tower, kicked ADSL up a notch and wouldn’t mind a little UT action… That is, a real person (virtually over the Internet

Already out for a bit, I bought Indiana Jones & The Emperor’s Tomb. Aparently, it is the same as the XBox, PS2 and Windows versions, except for control. I’ve been playing it for a couple of months now. Since it was my first purchase of a video game since my old Atari 2600, I have nothing to compare it to. It is full-3D, meaning all-around, up and down 3D. However, it isn’t first person. It is third person only really, except in rare shooting modes (like with a mounted machine gun). The game is cool in many regards … go to a lot of places. Things that will piss you off a bit (but you get over it): (1) a lot of swimming … controls take a long time to get used to in swimming mode; (2) sometimes the camera views are too restictive in tight places, like Indy standing on perch on a window sill or cliff; (3) You can’t save in the middle of a level, you can only save per completed level … and some levels take days to figure out. Overall, pretty good. I especially like the part in the begining where Indy responds to a couple of Chinese who rudly speak Chinese in front of him, thinking that such a white guy can’t speak Chinese. Indy responds in fluent Mandarin. … At least they got one prejudice of Chinese right in the game.
