I just transferred jobs. There was literally one day between my end date at the old company and the start date at my new company (which was 1 January).
Yesterday I went to the doctor’s office, and they said my NHI coverage was suspended, so I had to pay $1200 out of pocket.
I checked with my HR rep, and she said the problem has now been fixed and my NHI coverage is backdated to my first day working at my new company.
How do I go about getting reimbursed for the extra doctor’s fees I incurred?
