Has anyone in Taibei ever taken a gem or jewelry with a mounted gemstone for appraisal? Is there a fee for this, or do gemologists provide this as a free service? Has anyone had a good experience with a gemologist here in this regard?
2/27/09 edit: For future reference for others, Chen’s Collection recommended a Mr. Ye4 葉 for this: 2702 8142. $1000 fee for appraisal, $1500 with certificate.
