I saw some videos on CRISPR.
It makes all kinds of claims. I’m wondering if one thing it can do is change my ethnicity. I’d like to do that if I could.
Probably not. Well, not with CRISPR anyway.
Also, ethnicity is determined by interplay of many thousands of genes and gene products. CRISPR will modify only one exact sequence at a time. So it is useful for editing single gene errors only.

Altering your genetics would have no effect on your ethnicity, as this is determined by who your ancestors are.

" the quality or fact of belonging to a population group or subgroup made up of people who share a common cultural background or descent."
To change that you would need to change your parents and that would just make you someone else.
Maybe that’s actually what he wants?
