Getting a 2020 tax refund

In February I collected a tax refund at the local tax office.

I don’t remember if this included any 2020 refund money but I’m fairly certain that it did not.

When would one normally go to the tax office to claim their refund for the previous year?

Could I go now to claim my 2020 refund?

The standard is on May 1 to go to local tax office to file your taxes for previous accounting year. Depending on how long you have been in Taiwan, you may have to pay taxes, or you may get a refund, which is typically wired into your local bank account sometime in August.
