yes, thanks. that’s what i’ve been reading so far. so from what i understand, single status certificate is required only, translated and notarized by the rep office.

criminal background check who some say is also required, was probably for their visa/arc, imo.

Yes, but the 1st step is just for Marriage Registration, which is what he wants, correct?

thanks for that. i just looked at the 1st step(marriage registration), there isn’t anything about a criminal record check. i haven’t looked further, i guess that’ll come later in the process of naturalization. but as i said before, i don’t intend to live in taiwan so i won’t be applying for any visa.

anyways, you two guys have helped me a lot and i feel a lot more secure now that i’ll bring all the proper documents for my marriage registration.
