Give me some good diversification ideas for stocks or other asset classes

Ok @Brianjones

This is bizarre.

And this is the only issue AOC agree on.

Ok, then. Party on.

Trump Set To Order Critical Metals Stockpile. MP Materials Stock Soars. | Investor’s Business Daily

MP up bigly. It’s about time. :money_bag:

And PLTR back above 90 and looking for more

Very poor ‘rally’ pain is far from over right now. Still seeing concerns around USD weakness and it’s hurting my bottom line too in USD savings.and TWD savings and income . Ray Dalio who founded the worlds biggest hedge fund said we are at a bit of an inflection point where things could still.go bad. Institutional investors are being very careful.
Anyway lack of a big rally today ain’t great.

Trump trades, what segments to be careful investing in…
——
President [Donald Trump policies could cost the U.S. economy $90 billion this year in lost tourism and export revenue, according to analysts at Goldman Sachs
————-

Pretty much all segments ya need to be careful investing in, he almost killed the bond market for christ sake and the USD is getting a beating!

That’s true,

I just put it here as some parts are not so obvious, like the boycotting/avoidance of some American products will impact the reduced sales more than just the price increase from the retaliation tariffs those countries put on them…

Airports, hotels, car rentals… lowering tourism from abroad and domestic will hurt those sectors…

Usually when the US dollars drops, then tourism in US increases, but not this time

Definitely not this time. Also USD drop will hurt overseas tourism a lot e.g Americans going to Europe. In fact tourism operators in Ireland already saw a big drop off this year.
In the end of the day we better have a long term horizon or else have a very defined get in get out target.

I am repeating myself, but whenever the stock market gets too ugly, I look at the gold chart.

I feel like the stock market has found a bottom of some kind right now, but I’m gonna wait for now, before buying again.

Also, is it really that bad?

-7% is like nothing in the grand scheme of things, right?

Gold is good but I am always very wary of jumping in when everybody is jumping in , I’ve never been one for gold and I feel like I’m FOMOing.

NASDAQ is way way worse as are many individual stocks and small caps not doing so great. You are right it doesn’t look so bad at moment but nasdaq is also killing people…ehmmm killing me.

-8%, meh :slightly_smiling_face:

It came back a bit although not showing a
Lot of strength . And you should compare to the top not 6 months I think. Looking at the chart it’s showing lower highs, my limited knowledge of TA says not great, it’s meeting resistance.

But it’s not meh if you consider chips are getting whacked with tariffs again.
For instance Nvidia down almost 7,% and TSMC 4% again.

This definitely could be a buying opportunity I get it. But there’s not a v bounce like last few crashes so far.

Not so bad, but it was much worse, so that is after the crazy rallies we have seen getting here the last week…

Wait until Trump opens his fat mouth again, his mouth is like a big fat horn, +/- 5% in the market, what an idiot

Crazy rally ? Not really, Nvidia and TSMC still well down, Apple had a weak recovery.

S&P 500 up over 8% in a week, Nasdaq a bit more up in a week, it’s not normal, so a crazy rally in my book. Yes still lower than before, but a rally from the bottom

Hope he say good time to buy more :frowning:

watch out for that dead cat bounce.

Critical minerals and miners are up again , as the China tariff war gets started in earnest.

MP is doing very well, and via DCA in multiple accounts, I am finally in the green.

NB which is a small miner with no debt is jumping, and UUUU is digging out uranium and REE.

GDX is on a tear.

That was a good play to be fair, most stuff is going to shit.
