Can you recommend a good glasses shop in Taipei/ New Taipei?
“Good”, I don’t mean the most expensive store with fancy-schmancy brands neither the discount chains.
Some place with a very large variety of good solid choices.

I think this place is pretty good. By good, I mean giving you a long and detailed eye exam to get you the right lenses.
It also means you have to make an appointment.
