Does anyone know of an insurance broker in Taipei that sells real global/US style health insurance policies that allow for catastrophic year-round treatment anywhere globally? Local health care is fine for the little to medium stuff, but for the really nasty stuff (cancers, transplants, reconstructive surgery,etc) I’d like that treated in a place other than Taiwan, like the US or Hong Kong. Costs there, though, are through the roof. Thus, global insurance. There are mickey mouse plans sold by the banks, but they are pretty worthless. Curious if anyone knows of a reputable broker that offers plans for the big global insurers.
