Gold Card if you leave your job

Hello,

Do any of you know what happens if you have a Gold Card that is valid for 3 years and then you leave the company you work for currently, is it still a valid ARC?

To my knowledge, the Gold Card ARC is not tied to a specific employer. A normal ARC of course is.

Thanks guys. Specifically, if one is technically unemployed while holding the card, is it still valid?

or do you have to be constantly employed ?
