Gonzales implicated in cover-up of new pedophile scandal

Embattled AG now accused in teen sex scandal ‘cover-up’
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, both already under siege for other matters, are now being accused of failing to prosecute officers of the Texas Youth Commission after a Texas Ranger investigation documented that guards and administrators were sexually abusing the institution’s teenage boy inmates.

Among the charges in the Texas Ranger report were that administrators would rouse boys from their sleep for the purpose of conducting all-night sex parties.
Laudy laudy LAUDY! When Bush ran against Gore, I remember all these GOP calls for a return to “character” and “family values”. What a return it’s been…

Wow. I wasn’t sure that the Republican Party was trying to court the NAMBLA vote, but I guess this pretty much does it in. Apparently they interpreted the rules so that the inmates would actually have to “feel physical pain” before it would be considered “abuse”, which means that so long as a government employee uses sufficient lube then pretty much anything they do to a child is OK. Compare this with how the administration has analyzed its torture practices, and you can see where Alberto G’s fuzzy concept of clear lines comes from.

Oooo…another “evil” Bushie conspiracy…LOL

I thought this thread was about the head of the ACLU in Va. who was busted for child pornography…

Perhaps it is…In some hillbilly’s lives :rolls:

this thread reads like that ww2 as online game post.

Oh, and you should talk – didn’t you make a post assenting to the notion that Clinton had had something like 50 people killed…??? Arkanacide…wasn’t that what you called it?

And anyway, such labeling (evil conspiracy) seems a convenient reason to ignore information – even if that information is overwhelming, as in the prosecutor firing scandal. Oh, and strictly speaking, it isn’t an “evil Bushie” conspiracy. It’s an “evil Gonzales” conspiracy.

Fortunately, this scandal is about something even all those Americans who don’t give a crap about all that nasty shite our government has been up to recently might actually care about.

Are you trying to smear ACLU Virginia executive director Kent Willis? He has been accused of no such thing. Neither has John Vail, the president of the Virginia Chapter. :loco:

I think he was referring to this
Former ACLU Chapter President Arrested for Child Pornography
By JACK DATE

Feb. 23, 2007— Federal agents arrested Charles Rust-Tierney, the former president of the Virginia chapter of the ACLU, Friday in Arlington for allegedly possessing child pornography.
Well, Charles Rust-Tierney seems to be a completely different person from Kent Willis or John Vail. Funny that TC would miss the word “former” when it’s the first word in the headline. Using TC’s line of thinking, it would be OK to have a thread title consisting of The Current President Has an Illegitimate Child and then writting about Warren G. Harding.

By the way, none of that is relevant to a sitting U.S. Attorney General choosing not to prosecute child molesters unless this Rust-Tierney guy was dumb enough to buy kiddie porn filmed at the Texas facility where the rapes are going on? I definitely hope that the Texas state GOP organization and Mark Foley aren’t making money from this…
